B.C.A.C. Swimming Nabs First Win

B.C.A.C. Swimming Nabs First Win

The Broad Channel Athletic Club swim team won their first swim meet of the season against St. Elsewhere 47 to 67.

All the girls were very excited about their first win.  The team has grown to over 100 girls. Like every sport, swimming is very competitive, so the girls need their own pool to keep the pace. They manage to succeed besides this obvious competitive handicap.

It was an overdue victory. The girls have been practicing very hard this season and hope to see another win this Friday night when they swim against Holy Family in Richmond Hill at 7:00pm.
Here is a list of some the girls that placed first or second: Jenna Lee,  Meghan McCarvil, Casey Hila, Katie Willsen, Katie Connor, Kathleen Madden, Stephanie Van Rossem, Maureen O'Sullivan, Jacquline Hess, Katie Byrnes, Mary Gilmartin, Erin McKinley, Ashley Larcheque, Christina Farley, Trica Jackson, Jen Gorcia, Courtney White, Susan Sullivan, Juliene Vicens, Danielle Rissmeyer, Lauren Carter, Katie O'Sullivan, Stephanie Wagner, Diedre O'Donell, Liz Hennessy, Nicole Lee.
