Dot on Roxbury by Dotty Taphouse

The Breezy Point Golden Age held a St. Patrick’s Day party on Tuesday, March 13th in the hall of St. Thomas More. Frannie Jammin of JAMCO catered the delicious corned beef and cabbage dinner. Geraldine (nee Chapey) and her husband Eugene Pasternak donated the delicious cake. President Renee Lacey was the chairlady, Ann Marie Grossman was in charge of reservations, and Helen Mahon led the Irish dancers. It was a real Irish celebration.

A St. Patrick’s Day party was held in the Mayor’s Committee on Saturday, March 17th with DJ Anthony. Winners of the raffles were Dennis Miller (Milton), who won an Irish sweater; Gail Montero, who won the surprise gift; and Peggy Shaw, who won the 50/50. It was a great night out.

Happy Anniversary to Jack and Terry Donohue, March 25. Happy Birthday to Brian Flaraty, March 19.

Love ya, Dot
