Dot on Roxbury by Dotty Taphouse

Ladies Auxiliary of the Mayor’s Committee of Roxbury held their annual Christmas party on Friday, December 1. The party was held and catered by the Roxbury Barn II. Betty Feddern and all her helpers did a great job organizing and running the party.

On Saturday, December 2 the Catholic Club of Roxbury held their annual Christmas party and 50/50 at the Catholic Club. The delicious food was catered by Frank’s Deli in Maspeth. The music played by Double Exposure put everyone in a great holiday mood. There were many happy winners but glad I wasn’t one.

The Breezy Point Cooperative Annual Christmas Tree Lighting was held on Friday, December 1 by the Rockaway Point stores. There was a large crowd gathered as the tree was lit and the children were thrilled with their pizza, hot chocolate, and gifts from Santa.

Thank you to all who volunteered their time and energy to make this a true Christmas event.

Happy Birthday to Robert and Diane Donohue—December 6.

Love ya Dot.
