Quaim Sheeko and Mac Gonzalez, both of Far Rockaway, were shot while attending a paid admission party in a private home at 25-15 Oceancrest boulevard at approximately 1:20 a.m. Sunday morning, November 19.

According to police, both young men, each age 19, were attending this private house party when some kind of a dispute took place at the front door. Detectives at the 101 Precinct believe that Sheeko and Gonzalez were actually bystanders and got caught in the line of fire of the "doorman" or "bouncer" stationed at the front door.

The shooter fled the scene before police arrived. The questioning of witnesses from the party did not lead detectives any closer to identifying the name of the shooter, whose apparent job was to collect money at the front door prior to guest being admitted. Neither was it known as The Wave went to press who was the actual intended victim of the shooter.

Sheeko was grazed by a bullet, but Gonzalez was hit three times. Coincidentally, Sheeko was shot on Mott avenue the weekend prior.

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward to aid in the investigation. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Detective Lehner at the 101 Precinct Detective Squad at 718-868-3429.
