Elderly Discrimination

Dear Editor;

There is discrimination against race, color, employment, religion and numerous other things. I and a million other seniors feel that we are being discriminated against.

I am a senior that has driven a truck, automobile and taxi for over 70 years with a perfect record. Having to renew my auto insurance now, I was quoted from $4,400 to over $6,000 a year and can’t own a car unless I drive. Why, is it because of old age?

We seniors also feel we are being discriminated against in the television industry. Television programs are about murder, robbery, sex, children, love, hate, and many other categories. Why not about the million seniors. Try because you will get an education in the above categories. Have you an answer?
