Barracudas Take A Bite At College Point
Barracudas Take A
Bite At College Point
The Broad Channel Athletic Club Barracuda's Ranger Division traveled to College Point on Monday evening for a scrimmage game. The BCAC coaches have been working this group of boys to become the players the coaches see in them.
They are a young group, many of them only six and seven year olds, but what heart they have. The more experienced boys on the team are always looking out for their younger teammates and willing to pass them the puck whenever given the chance.
The Barracudas had an excellent game with Brendan Shea, Phil Beknessien and Andrew Knee scoring goals for their team. John Wagner, James Miele, Andrew Knee, and Brendan Shea all had at least one shot on goal.
Joseph Rustico and Phil Beknessien did a great job on defense for the cudas. Michael Dougherty, the flying goalie, made some excellent saves. Mikey Doc was awesome! Some other great plays were made by Michael Beknessien and Thomas Gullo. The coaches were very impressed by Michael Casillo's first game.
This team is very young but looked very impressive. Parents and players look forward to their next game.
