Detectives from the 100 Precinct are in hot pursuit of Ramon Collins for allegedly walking freely about the neighborhood displaying a firearm and he has recently been added to the precinct’s "Most Wanted" fugitives from justice list.

Collins is described as a 20 year old black male who is known to frequent the Hammels Housing Development and the surrounding community.

Anyone with information about Collins’ whereabouts is asked to call Detective Rice at the 100 Precinct Detective Squad at 718-318-4222. Police caution that no one should approach Collins if they run into him as his is to be considered "armed and dangerous." (The local police currently do not have a photograph of Collins to share with The Wave’s readership)

Shamel Plush has also risen to the top of the 100 Precinct’s "Most Wanted" list.

Detectives are seeking Plush, a 22 year old male black, who is wanted in connection with a gunpoint robbery that occurred on July 9, 2000 in the lobby of 85-02 Rockaway Beach boulevard.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Detective David E. Kinard of the 100 Precinct detective squad at 92-24 Rockaway Beach boulevard at 718-318-4224. Police are warning the public not to try to personally approach Plush, since he is also considered to be "armed an dangerous"

Information about the location of Collins or Plush can also be reported to the CRIMESTOPPERS Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.

CRIMESTOPPERS has recently up-ed its ante and is now willing to pay up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of a most wanted individual. All information can be kept confidential.

All suspects are to be considered innocent until proven guilty.
