Shame On You

Dear Editor;

When I read my Labor Day edition of The Wave, I could not believe the low level of journalism that The Wave has resorted to. I am talking about the fake pictures you published of Lew Simon in the Boyling Point column. Lew Simon is a person who has helped hundreds of people in Rockaway with their problems.

Who is this Kevin Boyle to all of a sudden appear in your paper and make up and run those fake irresponsible pictures of Lew Simon. Kevin Boyle, what have you ever done to help Rockaway and individual people in Rockaway. Are you jealous of Lew Simon because he helps Rockaway. You can’t hold a candle to Lew Simon for civic responsibility. You should be ashamed of yourself for this childish moronic humor. You have stretched the limit of common journalistic decency.

Leon and John, how could you publish the trash you did. You would not find this kind of character assassination fake pictures in the other Queens papers such as Tribune, The Chronicle, The Forum, etc. or in the Post, News, and Newsday, or the supermarket tabloids.

It is a shame that you allowed and published this childish locker room humor of Kevin Boyle. It has no place in a responsible paper like The Wave.

BERNIE FEUER
