A Local’s Viewpoint

Dear Editor;
(In response to last week’s Bag Of Mail from "A Rockaway Visitor")

First, I've lived in Belle Harbor most of my 46 years and I have no
trouble seeing the signs and knowing where I am going. The fact that
DFD's (visitors) do not know which way to go down a street because there
is summer parking restrictions instituted is a pretty sad situation on
their part, not Rockaways.

And yes, many people drive fast on Beach Channel drive. Don't you think we are aware of that already! You pay for the cameras on the traffic lights that are owned by the city that you seem to be so fond of putting in. Take my word, that doesn't work either. They are already in places in Rockaway. Or better yet, stay home in your own neighborhood, leave ours alone.

A HAPPY ROCKAWAY PERSON
