Just thought I'd write in and voice some of my opinions on a few matters
that I believe effect us all here in Rockaway Beach. First of all I really
don't like talking politics or religion but some of what I talk about
probably has political roots and God only knows what lurks in the minds of the local politicians. It seems that the powers that be decided to spend some of our tax dollars on trees along Shore Front parkway. Sure they were
supposed to spruce up the neighborhood but the idea failed terribly. The
trees are almost all dead due to no irrigation in the center median and I
only saw a water truck out there once to water them right after they were
planted. According to another reader who had voiced in earlier about this,
the trees should have been planted in the dormant season and not in the
