Congratulations To Roselle Sampol

Congratulations to Roselle Sampol, on the 20th anniversary of Dance
Dimensions -- her woman-owned business in the Rockaways. Roselle is an outstanding, capable and artistically creative woman who has inspired our youngsters to develop and expand their aesthetic talents. Through dance, youngsters grow to appreciate beauty and culture.

On June 20 Roselle celebrated her 20th year as a female pioneer in
business and the arts. Over 400 friends and neighbors attended the
magnificent dance recital of the children studying at Dance Dimensions. The recital was held at MS 180. The costumes were exquisite. Each child
attending dance dimensions participated in the recital. It was obvious that the children had learned poise, grace and self-assurance. These are
important aspects of their persona that will help them to lead well-rounded lives.

Roselle Sampol was given a proclamation by Congressman Anthony Weiner in celebration of her entrepreneurial and artistic endeavors. The citation read as follows: "Whereas we join the students, parents, grandparents and friends
of the students of Dance Dimensions in saluting and honoring the
accomplishments of Mrs. Roselle Sampol on the occasion of the 20th
anniversary of Dance Dimensions; whereas, it is not only a festive happening, it is a chance for all of us to celebrate and pay tribute to an individual who has dedicated her life to helping others. Mrs. Roselle Sampol is truly representative of the best our community has to offer; and whereas, Roselle Sampol is the founder and owner of Dance Dimensions which for 20 years has guided, encouraged, taught and nurtured each students artistic and creative talents. During her professional career, Roselle has exhibited astute leadership and direction with a broad vision for effectuating positive change in the lives of our children. Roselle is a successful entrepreneur and a pioneer in her woman owned business. She serves as an outstanding role model for other women. Whereas under Roselle Sampol's direction, she has attracted
a cadre of gifted professionals who are able to inspire each youngster to
achieve Abraham Maslow's highest goal of self actualization which in Maslow's terms means the fulfillment of individual potential. Roselle has
resourcefully and with consummate skill helped our children to develop and cultivate their innate abilities and expand their creative horizons. Roselle has an optimistic approach stressing all children's possibilities and their expansive capacity for joy and artistic expression; whereas Roselle Sampol has long been known for her commitment to community service and to embracing our children's quality of life; be it known that on behalf of the House of Representatives, I offer my congratulations to Mrs. Roselle Sampol on the occasion of her 20th anniversary as the founder of a woman owned business in the Rockaways."

Senator Malcolm Smith gave Roselle Sampol a magnificent citation
commending her for her service to our children and to the community.
Councilman Al Stabile presented Roselle Sampol with a City Council Citation noting that Roselle Sampol represents the best in our neighborhoods and the backbone of a strong and vital community.

Congratulations to Roselle Sampol for her leadership, dedication and the
enjoyment that she has added to the lives of our children and their families.
