Boudreau Sought For Burglary

By Joan Ward George

David Boudreau, 18, of Rockaway Beach is being sought for two recent buglaries on Beach 91 street and has risen to the top of the 100 Precinct’s "Most Wanted" fugitive from justice list.

According to detectives from the 100 squad, Boudreau was arrested on February 28 of this year for another burglary and possession of burglar’s tools. Well known to the 100 Precinct, Boudreau was arrested a year and a half ago for assault. Police believe that Boudreau has been on the street since mid-March.

Police told The Wave that Boudreau was asked to leave his last known address of 178 Beach 92 street by his own relatives and has since taken up an illegal temporary residence in an abandoned bungalow located at 136 Beach 91 street, #4. He is wanted on two counts of felony burglary at two other bungalows along this row. According to police, he allegedly has taken personal items, furniture, even sinks from these other bungalows, to the point of nearly gutting the entire structures.

Boudreau is well known to the police at the 100 Precinct and they are reaching out to the community for assistance in bringing him to justice. He is described as a white male, 5’7", and anywhere between 175 and 215 pounds. (Police note that the picture filed with this story depicts a heftier image than Boudreau present physique.) He is known to frequent the Beach 91 street area.

Anyone with information about Boudreau’s whereabouts is asked to call Detectives Valentino or Lloyd at the 100 Precinct Detective Squad at 718-318-4225. Additionally, information can be supplied to the NYPD’s CRIMESTOPPERS Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. Information supplied to the CRIMESTOPPERS Hotline that lead to the arrest or indictment of a "Most Wanted" individual can lead to a reward of up to $1,000. All information can be kept confidential. All suspects are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
