Michael served as a Marine during World War II. He was a retired Teamster.
He is predeceased by his sister, the late Lucy Padalino.
Widower of the late Gina (nee DiPippa), Michael is survived by his son Frank; daughter Annette Thompson; son-in-law Steven; brothers Joseph and Rocco; sister Marie; granddaughter Danielle; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment under the direction of Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Inc. was held at Calvery Cemetery, Woodside.
Patrick R. Davis

Mass of Christian Burial for Patrick R. Davis was celebrated Saturday, May 13, 2000, at St. Rose of Lima Church.
Patrick was a Rockaway Beach resident for 40 years, coming from the Bronx. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He is predeceased by his brother, the late John and his sister, the late Marie Winfrey.
Patrick is survived by his wife Mary; sons Peter, Robert, John, Michael, Thomas, and Stephen; daughters Patricia Nauheimer and Mary Clark; and brothers Michael and Lawrence; grandchildren Vincent, Brian, Catherine, Jeanne, Peter, Christine, Maureen, Tommy, Beth, Sauna, Kieran, Brendan, Deirdre, Connor, Patrick, Katie, and Eileen; daughters and sons-in-law Vinnie, Mary Beth, Laura, Philomena, Randy, Grace, Mary, and Maureen.
Interment under the direction of Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Inc. was held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, New York.

Mass of Christian Burial for Helen M. Johnston was celebrated Monday, May 8, 2000, at St. James Cathedral in Florida.
Helen is survived by her husband Edward J.; sons Kevin and Gerard Rich and Edward C. Johnston; daughters Lucille Noonan, Mary Johnston, Helen Icardi, and Jeanne Johnston; sister Florence Conlin; brothers William, Harold, and Edward White; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Interment under the direction of Newcomer Family Funeral Home was held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Helen Johnston to St. Virgilius Catholic School in Broad Channel.
Breezy Point Resident
Service for Amelia Lee was held at Christ Community Church in Breezy Point.
Amelia was a Breezy Point resident for 35 years. She was a member of the Christ Community Church and a teacher for the New York City Board of Education.
Amelia is survived by her husband John; son Joseph A.; sisters Mary Jedrizinic and Alice Rizzi; and grandchildren Samantha, Daniel, and John Thomas.
Interment under the direction of Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Inc. was held at St. Raymond’s Cemetery.
Mass of Christian Burial for Winifred Maloney was celebrated Thursday, May 11, 2000, at St. Rose of Lima Church.
Winifred was a longtime summer resident of the Rockaways. She was a native of County Cavan, Ireland.
She is predeceased by her sisters, the late Julia Riordan, the late Mary Kate, and the late Margaret.
Widow of the late Martin F., Winifred is survived by her son John M. (FDNY); daughter-in-law Monica; and grandchildren Mary and John.
Interment under the direction of Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Inc. was held at Long Island National Cemetery.
Service for Stephen Schrobo was held Wednesday, May 10 at DeWitt Reformed Church in New York City.
A World War II Army Airforce Corporal, Stephen moved to Arverne in 1960 from Manhattan. He was a member of the DeWitt Reformed Church and also attended the First Congregational Church for many years.
Stephen is survived by his wife of 57 years Anne; son Stephen Michael; daughter-in-law Bernice; sister Sophie Gallowicz; and grandchildren Gennifer and Michael.
