Kids Speak Out

Dear Editor;

I heard about what is wrong with the little boy Steven and I feel really, really awful about this situation and if I knew what is causing this awful disease, I would do everything in my power to stop this. I have sent money and I will also pray for him.

Dear Editor;

(In response to editorial "We Must Remember", Wave, April 29, 2000.)

I’m mad and hurt after reading this editorial. Why do people do thing like that? The Jews didn’t do anything wrong to have the Holocaust happen to them. It is very sad to think about what happened to the Jews. Maybe we have different religions, but we are all people that deserve the right to live.

That was Hitler’s decision to do the wrong thing and I hope that never happens again. It wasn’t all Hitler’s fault, but the people that followed and killed the Jews could have stopped. They could have thought, "This isn’t right, why am I doing this?"

Dear Editor;

(In response to Wave Editor John McLoughlin being honored.)

Congratulations for what you have done. I think that it is great that you have been honored for your great work. It is very surprising that a 24-year old can be editor of a newspaper. It is also surprising that the Rockaway Park Chapter of Hadassah honors men, not just women. It is a great thing to be honored. Keep up the good work.
