A native of Manhattan, Edward moved to Belle Harbor in 1965, coming from Woodside.
Edward was a veteran of the US Army. He retired from the New York Telephone Company.
He is survived by his wife Marie (nee O’Regan); son Edward and his wife Donna; and grandson Thomas.
Interment under the direction of Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Inc. was held at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
Mass of Christian Burial for Anges Burke was celebrated on Thursday, May 4, 2000 at St. Francis de Sales Church.
Anges died on April 30, 2000 at the age of 101.
A native of Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, Agnes was a Rockaway resident since 1975, coming from Rosedale. She was a loving wife and mother who devoted her life to her family.
Widow of the late Thomas, Agnes is survived by her son John; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her son, the late Reverend Thomas Burke, M.M., and her daughter, the late Beatrice Tobin.
Interment under the direction of Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Inc. was held at Calvary Cemetery, Queens.

Marilyn is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, the late Sheldon Fein.
She is survived by her children, Helen, Sharon and Andy, Scott and Ruthanne; brother Alvin Jacobs and his wife Maxine.
Vincent De Paul McMahon
Formerly Of Rockaway
Vincent De Paul McMahon died on April 29, 2000, in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Born in Brooklyn in 1909, Vincent lived in Rockaway Park for over 40 years. When he retired, he relocated to St. Petersburg.
While living in the Rockaways, Vincent was active in St. Camillus Church as an usher, lecturer, and Bingo volunteer. He was a member of St. Camillus Golden Age, the Rockaway Regular Democratic Club, and a President of the Stella Maris High School Parents Club.
Vincent retired as a bricklayer from the New York City Housing Authority. One of the highlights of his career as a bricklayer was working on the Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center.
He often recalled stories of when Rockaway Beach was young, and he and his mother and brother would take the ferry to the Rockaways and rent a tent in the area that is now Beach Channel High School.
Vincent is survived by his wife Ann, of 59 years; daughters Helene Hardick and Eileen Stafford of St. Petersburg, Roseanne Molkentin of Garden City, NY, Kathleen Stafford of Kennett-Square, PA; six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Private services were held in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Jean I. Richards

Jean I. Richards died on Wednesday, April 26, 2000.
Originally from Trinidad, West Indies, Jean was an Arverne resident for 30 years. She later moved to Hampton, Virginia.
Jean touched everyone she met with her beautiful smile.
She is survived by her husband Alfred; children Annmarie, Rosemaria, Robert, and Anderson; and many grandchildren.
Private services were held in Hampton, Virginia.
Angel Luis Santos

Services for Angel Luis Santos were held on Wednesday, May 3, 2000.
A resident of Hunter, New York, Angle worked as a truck driver for Quadrozzi Construction in Arverne.
He is survived by his wife Maria Santos; longtime companion Olga Agosto; parents Filomena and Isabelino Santos; daughters Dawn Marie, Anne Marie, Angela Rosa, Jennifer Christine, and Jacklyn Santos; siblings Iris, Dino, George, William, Laura, Nerida, Noelia, Henry, Victor, and Justo Santos; grandchildren Jasmine, Jessica, Saray, Jaimee, Ismeal III, Edward, jr., Jewel Kristian, Nikolas, Izabella, and one future grandchild.
Interment under the direction of Lawrence Funeral Chapel, Inc. was held at Rockville Cemetery, Lynbrook, New York.
Alice V. Wohlhorn

Mass of Christian Burial for Alice V. Wohlhorn was celebrated on Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at St. Camillus Church.
Alice was a homemaker. She was a Rockaway Park resident for nearly 50 years, coming from Jamaica, Queens.
Widow of the late Charles, Alice is survived by her daughter Alice T. Wohlhorn.
Interment under the direction of Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Inc. was held at Calverton National Cemetery.
Mass of Christian Burial for Connie Zafonte will be celebrated Saturday, May 6, 2000 at St. Gertrude’s Church in Edgemere.
Connie was a lifelong Edgemere resident. She was an active member of the Frank Avenue Civic Association. She was also a retired postal worker.
Connie is predeceased by her brothers, the late David and Ernest, and her sister, the late Josephine Intrabatollo.
She is survived by her brother Frank Zafonte; and sisters Jean Ryan and Natalie Liston.
