Tigers Tear Apart Team

Bishop Kearney Tigers traveled to Marist College on Saturday to take on Haldane High School of Cold Spring Harbor.

Haldane went into the game 12-0. With the score tied 22-22 at the half Bishop Kearney held Haldane to three points in the third quarter and took a 37-25 lead. Kearney continued to roll in the forth and won 49-38.

Janelle McManus led Kearney with 20 points, 10 rebounds; Caitlin Boyle had 12 points; and Caitlin O'Callaghan had 7 points, 7 rebounds. Katelyn Lawler provided excellent defense holding Haldanes leading
scorer to 3 points in the second half.

The Tigers are 11-3 overall and 6-0
in league play. Kearney next faces Mary Louis on Saturday, January 29 at 2:00 with the junior varsity playing at 12:00. The tigers then play Bishop Loughlin on Tuesday, February 1 at 6:00 p.m. with the junior varsity playing at 4:30.
