Queens Council on the Arts now provides an insider's guide to Queens, which identifies Rockaway, but does not label Broad Channel properly. The map also identifies Beach 129 street and Beach 116 street as shopping areas, but does not mention Central avenue and Mott avenue.
Be on the look out--car tires are being slashed around the vicinity of Beach 124-125 streets. Local police are aware of the problem and are investigating the matter.
