Since that time, friends and neighbors have responded enthusiastically to the association's need for funds to fight lung disease, especially asthma among New York City's children. Let's face it, as parents, what can be more terrifying than seeing your child gasping for breath? During the last two months I have collected over $2,200, which puts me within spitting distance of my $3,000 target. It is my hope that I can collect the balance between now and the end of the year so I won't have to beg my kids to
help me hand out any more flyers.
There is still time to make your tax-deductible contribution for 1999. If
