Panthers Tear Apart Falcons 30-0

Have Eye On Championship

This past weekend was another successful one for the Far Rockaway Panthers. The Pee Wee Division continues to go undefeated after a 30-0 win over the Queens Falcons at Juniper Park on Sunday, November 14.

Defense led by Kajuan Walker, Vincent Rey, Donnie Belman, Sean Kolbinsky, Tyrrel Zanders, Saquan "Old Dirtu South" Jordan, James "Speedy" Romaine, Tommy "The Dog" Stevens, Brandon "The Hit Man" Garcia, and Lawrence Whitehead held the Falcons down, preventing them from scoring any points. Key defensive moves were made by Saquan Jordan, who made a remarkable interception preventing the Falcons from scoring, and by Brandon Garcia, Tommy Stevens, and Kajuan Walker, who all made sacks on the opposing quarterback.

Incredible offense was led by quarterback Steven Flake, who did another incredible job. He did not do it alone though. He had a lot of help from the rest of the offense made up of James "Speedy" Romaine, Tommy "The Dog" Stevens, Saquan Jordan, Lawrence Whitehead, Vincent Rey, Michael Rey, Michael Walker, Antoine Walker, Michael Maloney, and Jeffrey Ghee. Outstanding touchdowns were made by James Romaine, Steven Flake, and Tommy Stevens, who had a great game; scoring two touchdowns. Other key offensive plays were made by Tyrell Zanders and Sean Kolbinsky, who combined caught three passes for three two point conversions.

Their next game might be the toughest and most important game of their season. The game takes place Saturday, November 20, at 2 p.m. against the Springfield Rifles. If the Panthers can beat the Rifles they will clinch their division and go onto the championships. If they continue to play with as much heart and determination as they have been playing with, they will have a good shot against the Rifles.
