Michael Smith died in New Jersey on October 25, 1999.
He was a construction worker who lived in Rockaway for over 20 years.
Michael is survived by his father George H. Smith; brother George V. Smith; and sister-in-law Florence Smith.
He is predeceased by his mother, the late Regina Smith.
Private services were held at Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Inc., of Rockaway Park, on Friday, October 29.
Interment was held at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx.

Mass of Christian Burial for Katherine Marie Sulley was celebrated on November 10, 1999 at St. Genevieve’s Church in Roxbury.
Katherine was a Girl Scout leader for 17 years in Flatlands, Brooklyn. She taught in the Catholic school system for 29 years, working mostly in Immaculate Heart of Mary. She also did lay missionary work in Brooklyn.
In 1972 Katherine moved to Breezy Point. She taught Christian doctrine in Roxbury, was a member of the Breezy Point Garden Club, and was a sacristan at St. Geneivieve’s.
Katherine is predeceased by her brothers Joseph and James and her sisters Marguerite Sulley and Elizabeth Falconer.
She is survived by 9 nieces and nephews and 6 grand-nieces.
Interment under the direction of Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, Inc., was held at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
