Several points of interest have come to our attention from participants. Start times are set to be mutually beneficial for each player. The standard is 8 p.m., with a half hour grace period. Rules are meaningless in this or any league without a basic understanding of sportmanship. Enforcement should be a general practice, not a consequence. Every member of the league should realize their actions are a reflection on themselves, their team, and their sponsoring bar. No acts of unsportsmanlike conduct should be tolerated. Let’s all think about what we are beforehand.

Before closing, your feedback and follow-up is heard and necessary. As the season, we should work towards making this a more functional and enjoyable league for all. This is only possible with your appreciated feedback and opinions. Let’s make it a better league for all.

We appreciate the concern of everyone who attended the benefit for Mike Nolan. Our thoughts and prayers are always with his family and friends. Kerry Hill’s has moved to a new location at Beach 115 street and Rockaway Beach boulevard. Its interior decor is a gracious and noteworthy asset to the Rockaway community. Thanks to Mike Monath of the Blackwater Dragons for his assistance in this week’s article. Skilled Chucking to all and to all, a true cork.
