Dissatisfied With Mayor

Dear Editor;

(Letter to Mayor Giuliani)

I saw and heard you on "Meet The Press" and was greatly disappointed by your comments on partial birth abortion and the Puerto Rican terrorist vs. the Israeli spy case.

Abortion is the cold-blooded murder of innocent children. Have you ever witnessed the inhumane procedure of a partial birth abortion? You would find it hard to watch if it was being performed on an animal let alone a human. It is so revolting that you would get sick and say, "How could our society do this to another person?" This is genocide committed on the minorities. How many Thomas Edisons, Jonas Salks, Einsteins, Jeffersons, Lincolns, Martin Luther Kings, and Babe Ruths are we loosing to abortions?

Partial birth abortions and physician-assisted suicide that are now part of our society were popular in 1933-1945 Germany. Part of Hitler’s philosophy was only the strong shall survive. The children, the elderly and the handicapped have no political power. They do not vote or donate money to politicians. You and your colleagues consider them a drain on our welfare and health care systems, so your attitude is why do we need them? They won’t be missed. What is interesting is how much trouble a government will go to save a life. A woman giving birth in a car on a highway, a child with an asthma attack or a firefighter hurt in a fire and the city spares nothing to help those in need.

I can not express my feeling for a traitor/spy in writing. A person who betrays their country should be put away for life. In our 224 years millions of Americans have made the supreme sacrifice so we may live in freedom. It does not make a difference who they spied for. If they (he) spied for Israel, Ireland, China or Iran they are all the same—foreign. If some people have alliance to another country then they should pack their bags and leave—not hide behind the American flag when it suits them. This Israeli spy threatened the safety of all Americans. The Puerto Rican terrorists should be in jail for the rest of their lives. They killed, injured and blinded American citizens. It’s a sick joke that they call themselves freedom fighters. What if I organized an IRA unit and wanted independence for Rockaway and started bombing buildings? Multiply this by 100 different nationalities and what kind of a country would we have? We should all be grateful for what we have and thank God for it. An interesting fact; less than three percent of Puerto Ricans want independence. Can you visualize what would happen if they took control of Puerto Rico?
