Scary, Scary Night!
What’s planned for Halloween this year at Fort Tilden? There’ll be a scary hayride, story telling, and lots of surprises sponsored by Gateway National Recreation Area from 4 to 7 p.m, Sunday, October 31.
An interactive "sensurround" museum of nightmares is also planned for this year’s scary Halloween celebration at Ft. Tilden. Featured will be the likes of Jack Nicholson and his East wicked witches; Lizzie Borden and her folks; Mrs. Bates and her favorite son, Norman; John Wayne Babbit, his Mrs., and their once-missing friend, Anthony; Hannibal Lechter and his dinners. . . And more. Much more! All this will be performed for your entertainment in Dr. Demento’s House of Whack museum at Building T-1, Fort Tilden, on Halloween night, October 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the seemingly innocent setting of Fort Tilden, Gateway National Recreation Area. Be there for plenty of frights and fun this Halloween.
