Forces Fight Fire Furiously

More than 120 firefighters from 32 units responded to a two alarm ‘all-hands’ fire at 13-93 Beach Channel drive on Monday, September 13. Starting on the top floor of the house, the first engine responded at 4:27 p.m. and the fire was under control at 5:10 p.m. Four firefighters were sent to St. John’s and one civilian was sent to Peninsula Hospital Center with minor injuries. The cause of the fire was still under investigation as The Wave went to press.
