COPS NEED HELP

Shooter’s Still Out There

Detectives at the 101 Precinct are reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying the shooter in an attempted murder that took place Saturday, August 14 at approximately 1:45 p.m. in front of 20-10 Plainview avenue, just off of Seagirt avenue.

The victim, Eric Witherspoon, 34, of Far Rockaway, was shot twice in the back by an unknown perpetrator. There were reportedly only two shots fired, yet no witnesses to the crime have come forward.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Detective Edwin Surillo at the 101 Precinct Detective Squad at 868-3428.
