Mass of Christian Burial for Carolyn Keenan Bell was celebrated at St. Camillus Church, Rockaway Park.
During World War II, Carolyn, known as "Callie" to her family, was one of the original "Rosie Riveters." She died August 1, 1999.
The widow of Richard, she is survived by brothers Bernard and Daniel and sister Madge; she was sister to the late Anne Lyons, Gertrude McNulty, Thomas and Joseph Keenan. She was aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.
Interment under the direction of the Francis S. O’Connor Funeral Home Inc. of Rockaway Beach was in Calvary Cemetery, Queens, New York.
James Considine Of Rockaway Beach
Private services were held for James Considine at the Hess-Miller Funeral Home.
A lifelong resident of Rockaway Beach, Mr. Considine was a machinist. He died July 31, 1999.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Jennifer and Marie; mother Margie; brothers John, Danny, Donnie, Dennis, and Douglas. He was son of the late James and the brother of the late Margaret.
Esther Haim Of Neponsit
Esther Haim died August 3, 1999.
A resident of Neponsit for 52 years, Esther was the wife of the late Samuel; she was mother to Marilyn, Gladys, Susan, and Wendy; grandmother of Adam, Andrew, Craig, Jonathan, Paul, Jennifer, and Joanna.
She was a life member of Hadassah and Beth El Sisterhood. Donations may be made to Hadassah and Temple Beth El and Hospice Care Network.
Michael Nolan Of Rockaway Beach

A construction worker and Rockaway Beach resident, Michael died July 31, 1999.
He is survived by his parents, Mary and Arthur Nolan; brothers Kevin, Sean, and Christopher; sister-in-law Kelly; and nephew Connor.
Interment under the direction of the Francis S. O’Connor Funeral Home Inc. of Rockaway Beach was in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
Bartholomew G. Harte Of Broad Channel
Mass of Christian Burial for Bartholomew G. Harte was scheduled to be celebrated August t at St. Anthony’s Church, Greenpoint.
A Broad Channel resident, Mr. Harte worked for the Schaeffer Brewing company. He died August 4, 1999.
He is survived by his wife Mary; sons Thomas, John, Bartholomew, Daniel, and Dennis; daughters Maryanne Boyle, Dianne Marshall, Carolyn Sehn, Anne Harte, Denise Rivera, Barbara Pazzienza, Kathleen Harte, Dawn Harte, Adrienne Harte; sister Rita; brother James; 22 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Viewing was scheduled to take place at the Denis S. O’Connor Funeral home on Friday, August 6 (2-5, 7-10 p.m.).

Mary Murphy Of Rockaway Park
Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Murphy was scheduled for August 7 at St. Camillus Church, Rockaway Park.
A Rockaway Park resident since 1933, coming from Minnesota, Mary died August 5, 1999.
The widow of Vincent, she is survived by daughter Maureen O’Shea, brother Edward; grandchildren Peter, Debra, and Michael; John Murphy, and Jennifer Cardone. She was mother to the late John.

Juan Salgado Of Far Rockaway
Mass of Christian Burial for Juan Salgado was celebrated August 4 at St. Mary Star if the Sea Church, Far Rockaway.
Born in Chile, Mr. Salgado was a cook. He died July 31, 1999.
He is survived by wife Maria and son Fernando.
Final arrangements were entrusted to the Lawrence Funeral Chapel, Lawrence, New York.
Theresa and Melissa Ramlochan Of Far Rockaway
Funeral services for Theresa and Melissa Ramlochan were held July 29 at the Community Church of the Nazarene, Far Rockaway.
Theresa was a Far Rockaway resident who worked for Avon, Capstone Pharmacy and law offices. She died July 24, 1999.
Melissa was a graduate of PS 215 and IS 53 with plans to attend Far Rockaway High School in the fall. She died July 24, 1999.
Theresa is survived by husband Dennis, sons Ray and Peter; and was mother to the late Melissa.
