Guy W. Fisher

Private services were held for Guy W. Fisher at the Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home of Rockaway Beach.

Mr. Fisher was a resident of Breezy Point and Jensen Beach, Florida. He was a volunteer fireman in New Jersey and a photo engraver. A World War II Army veteran, Mr. Fisher died May 30, 1999.

He is survived by his wife Georgette (nee Perraudin), sons Guy C. and Glenn; daughters Jean Ciurpita, Joy Fisher, Janet Muller, Joan Fisher, Jill Fisher. He was predeceased by daughter Aline Stonehouse. He is survived by grandchildren.

 Crystal Lee Collins
Attended Beach Channel

Crystal graduated from Beach Channel High School and was an active member of the church choir and Sunday school. She died May 29, 1999.

Crystal is survived by her grandmother/mother Zetis; Catherine Newsom; Hilary Lee Collins; cousins Latasha, Brittany, and Lee; godbrothers Daniel, Andre, and Anthony; spiritual father Rev. Evan D. Gray sr.; godmother Barbara Lee; godaunts Edna and Shirley; special friend Michael Santo; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Interment under the direction of the Jeremiah C. Gaffney Funeral Inc. of Inwood was in Lodi Cemetery, Lodi New Jersey.

 Funeral services for Crystal Lee Collins were held June 2 at the Macedonia Baptist Church, Arverne.

 Shirley Davis
Career In Computers

Shirley had a career in nursing before switching to a career in computers. She died May 9, 1999.

She is survived by daughters Rachel Kim Flood and Nicole Rhonda Flood; granddaughters Jeanette and Felicia; grandsons Keith, Mathew, and George; sister Valerie, Doreen and Margie; brothers George and Joseph; sisters-in-law Johnette and Jackie; brothers-in-law Alfonso, Russell, and Julian.

Interment under the direction of the Jeremiah C. Gaffney Funeral Home was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Linden, New Jersey.

 Funeral services for Shirley Davis were held May 27 at the Jeremiah C. Gaffney Funeral Home, Inwood.

Aileen Fleming
Teacher 

Mass of Christian Burial for Aileen Fleming was celebrated June 3 at St. Thomas More Church, Breezy Point.

A Breezy Point resident, Aileen had been a teacher at Hempstead High School. She was also a member of the Catholic Club, the Breezy Point Garden Club and a volunteer for the Little Sisters of the Poor. She died May 30, 1999.

The widow of Gordon, she is survived by stepson Gordon; stepdaughters Marguerite Klch, Nora Fleminhg-Hanssen, and Mary Murawsky; nephew Dennis and niece Lorraine Hurley; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Interment under the direction of the Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home Inc. of Rockaway Beach was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.

Anna P. Gibbons
Of Rockaway Park

 Mass of Christian Burial for Anna P. Gibbons was celebrated June 1 at St. Francis DeSales Church, Belle Harbor.

Born in Ireland, Anna was a resident of Rockaway Park. She died May 28, 1999.

The widow of John, she is survived by sons John and Thomas; daughter Nancy O’Connor; brother Martin Heneghan and sisters Kathleen Carabine, Winnie Carney, and Nora Devaney; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Interment under the direction of the Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home Inc. of Rockaway Beach was in St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, New York.
