Man Ejected From Car In Broad Channel
      A 36-year-old Arverne man was driving south on Crossbay Boulevard last Thursday night when he lost control of his red Ford Explorer. The vehicle rolled several times onto oncoming traffic and came to a halt when it slammed into a tree located near West 5 Road. The crash ejected the driver through his own windshield.

Mom Tosses Woman Through Store Window
      A Redfern woman was busted on Monday evening for assaulting another woman with an umbrella and pushing her through a store window, police say. According to court documents supplied by Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, Redfern Houses resident Kim Davis, 44, and Candy Griffin had an altercation at about 5 p.m. in front of 10-25 Beach 20 Street.
