Golf Tournament Raises $100,000 to Support Hospital


The Development Board of St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, South Shore, recently held its 10th Annual Invitational Golf Tournament at the Woodmere Club, raising $100,000 for its cardiac, emergency, intensive and surgical care services. Members of the Rotary Club of Far Rockaway prepared to tee off. The foursome were (from left to right): Patrick Russell, Administrator, Park Nursing Home; Barbara Morris, West End Realty; Harold Graham, Dragon’s Den Florists; and Ira Seplow, Trainor & Seplow.

Gathered back at the club house were (from left to right): Luis A. Hernandez, Chief Executive Officer, St. Johns’; Margaret Carpenter, President, Development Board; Sharon G. Grosser, Executive Director, The Roslyn Savings Foundation and Golf Tournament honoree; Howard Siskind, Vice President, Development Board; and Joseph Mancino, Past Chairman of the Board, The Roslyn Savings Bank.
