St. Edmund Students/Teachers Battle on Basketball Court

The St. Edmund Prep Athletic Department recently held it’s second annual senior vs. faculty basketball game. This year, the teachers won, 83 to 80. The successful event was coordinated by Athletic Director Ms. Jean McEvoy (Rockaway) and hosted by students John Dugan and Scott O’Donnell. The wonderful event generated spirit among the student body, created a memory for the senior members of the basketball team and raised money for the basketball program.
The Faculty Team consisted of Mr. James Benson (Rockaway)- Assistant principal, Mr. Mike Collins- Coach, Ms. Danielle Madden- History, Mr. Ray Malafronte-English, Ms. Carolyn McKenna-Guidance, Mr. Brain Mullen- Coach, Mr. Mike O’Brien- History, Mr. Brain Wagner- Science, Mr. Daniel Wiatre- Math
The senior team had Kevin Boyle, Billy Cook (Rockaway), Shane Gauvard (Rockaway), Matt Kennedy, Shadonnae LeGree, Billy McDonnell, Walter Nordguist, Geto Jean Louis, Danny Valk, and Owen Wilkinson.
