Cyclones Hosts National Anthem Auditions

Stadium lights replace the spotlight and home plate is center stage, but the feeling of performing live in front of thousands is still the same. The Brooklyn Cyclones are hosting an open call for singers on a first come, first sing basis at 7:30 am on Friday, May 14 at Keyspan Park on 17th Street and Surf Avenue in Brooklyn.

The Cyclones can’t promise to turn anyone into a pop star with millions of fans worldwide, but are offering the opportunity to sing the National
Anthem in front of a sellout crowd at a Cyclones home game this summer.

Great seats are still available for Brooklyn Cyclones fans looking for some summertime fun.

The Cyclones will sell tickets through the team’s website, www.brooklyncyclones.com, as well as through the Shea Stadium box office. Non-refundable service charges will apply for all phone and Internet orders.  Season tickets, group and mini plans are still available. For the best seating in the house and a splurge, there is always the party deck.

The Brooklyn Cyclones are the Class-A affiliate of the New York Mets. Box-office hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Ticket information is available by calling 718-449-TIXS.
