Papa’s Pizza Defeated

The May 1 game between Flynn and Flynn vs. Papa’s Pizza saw Papa’s take a commanding second inning 6-0 lead. They took the lead due to walks earned by Erin Tacopina, Jenna Hoffman, Catherine Murphy and Mary Ameruso. Lauren Houck followed with an RBI single and Annette Scott hit a grand slam home run to deep center field. Papa’s held the lead until the 4th inning until Flynn picked up 4 runs. With Papa’s up 6-4 in the 6^th inning, Flynn fired up their bats with a single by Jacklyn Corral, a walk by Kacey Robertson and followed by 3 doubles by Ashley Raff, Shannon Delfini. and Diedre Munday. Delfini allowed only 1 hit to Papa’s in the bottom of the 6th as Flynn won the game 8-6 .
