for larger version       Family And Schools Together At Ps 105 On Friday, May 21, PS 105 in Far Rockaway will host a commencement exercise for Family And School Together (FAST). According to school officials, FAST is a dynamic process to empower and involve all parents to foster family development and cohesion. Its ultimate purpose is to help all children succeed at home, in elementary school, and in the community. "We are proud to announce that our school is the first in New York City to host this program," says a school spokesperson. "We will be graduating eight families, who have gone through an eight-week initial engagement process." The school urges community members who are interested in education to attend the celebration.
