Amanda Starr Ashley, an August Martin High School alumnus and resident of Bay Towers graduated from Howard University with honors in psychology on May 8. A product of P.S. 183 and M.S. 180, Ashley went on to become student president of August Martin High School in her senior year. While at Howard, Ashley also received a Trustee Scholarship. She now plans to pursue a Master’s Degree while residing in Paris.
