for larger version       Rockaway Rotary Annual Ocean Run The Rockaway Rotary 26th Annual Ocean Run will take place from the ocean end of Beach 116 Street on Sunday, April 25 that feature a 5K run and a ¼ mile children’s race. Registration on the day of the race is $18.00 and it starts at 8 a.m. on 116 Street. No new numbers will be issued after 10 a.m. The first three overall finishers (male and female) and the male and female finishers in the following age groups: 11 and under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-70 and 70-over will receive awards. There will be a post-race party/awards at the New Irish Circle on 101-19 RBB, in which hamburgers, hot dogs, beer, soda and water will be served. It is $5.00 for non-race participants.
