PHC Earns Recognition for Respiratory Care | | Peninsula Hospital Center (PHC) recently earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) for the second year in a row under a national program aimed at helping patients and families make informed decisions about the quality of the respiratory care services available in hospitals. The QRCR program was developed by the American Association for Respiratory Care to help consumers identify those facilities utilizing qualified respiratory therapists to provide respiratory care. “We are proud to be among the ten percent of all U.S. hospitals to receive this recognition for the second year in a row,” states Edward Ozechowski, RT, RRT, Administrative Director of Cardio-Pulmonary Services. As a hospital that earned the QRCR designation, PHC ensures patient safety by adhering to a strict set of criteria governing respiratory care services at the hospital center.
