for larger version       Cedarhurst Spring Festival The Second Annual Cedarhurst Spring Festival will be held Sunday, May 2, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Chestnut Street (Restaurant Row) between Spruce and Cedarhurst. Sponsored by the Cedarhurst Business Improvement District, the event will feature a gala performance by the Lawrence Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cedarhurst "Idol" talent search with big prizes, children’s games and rides, sand sculptures, art classes, mask designing, free wine tasting and food from Cedarhurst’s best restaurants. Admission is free.
