Rockaway Relay 4 Life Fantasy League Opens
 | | The Rockaway Relay 4 Life Yahoo Fantasy Baseball League has incorporated members from many community organizations and public services to face off against one another for the 2004 Major League Baseball season. The 12-team league held a live draft at the Knights of Columbus before the start of the regular season. Community District 14 manager Jonathan Gaska makes the first pick of the draft for Rockaway Beach Civic. |

 | | Representatives from Councilman Joseph Addabbo, Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer, Representative Anthony Weiner, East Meets West, Rockaway Beach Civic, NYPD 100th Precinct, Elegante, Knights of Columbus, NYPD DCU and the Wave will make up the teams. The league will raise money for the annual Rockaway Relay 4 Life, which will start on Saturday, June 5 at 6 p.m. Beach Channel High School will play host to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, to support cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services in the community. |
