Far Rockaway H.S. Hosts Big Apple Games
     After a very successful 2002 summer, Far Rockaway High School will again host the Big Apple Games in 2003. Starting on Tuesday, July 1, the center will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., Monday-Thursday until August 7 for all teens 13-21.

PAL Kicks Off 2003 Summer Playstreet Program
     The Police Athletic League (PAL) launches its 2003 Summer Playstreet Program in Queens on Monday, July 7. Hundreds of PAL youngsters will play city sidewalk games, make arts and crafts, choose to read from a variety of books and make lots of new friends all summer long.
