Awarded Doctor of Professional Studies

Kevin McClean, a graduate of St. Francis de Sales, Belle Harbor (‘58), was awarded a Doctor of Professional Studies degree by Pace University at the school’s 2003 commencement in New York City. McClean graduated from Xaverian High School, (’62), received a B.A. from King’s College, Pennsylvania (’67), and an MBA from St. John’s University (’84). His doctoral dissertation addresses service quality in the electric energy business. Kevin’s brothers, Dan and Dennis, are residents of Belle Harbor. He retired from a 31-year career with the Consolidated Edison Company of New York in December 2001 and, with his wife, Mary, moved from Manhattan to Phoenix, Arizona, where he began a new career as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Grand Canyon University.
