Workshops At Seaside Library

Interested in growing your own herb garden? Perhaps you’d like to make interesting creations using only string. Well, if either sounds interesting, don’t miss the upcoming workshops being held at the Seaside Branch of the Queens Borough Public Library on Beach 116 Street.

The "Herb Garden" workshop will teach you how to find space and maximize planting potential in even the smallest of spaces. The workshop also covers the purposes for growing herbs: culinary, fragrance, medicinal and/or ornamental. It will be held on Tues., July 8, at 2 p.m. and admission is free.

The "String Art" workshop with Pamela Isaac is designed to teach teens how to make "amazing," colorful creations using simple string. It will be held Wed., July 9, at 4 p.m. Admission is free, but pre-registration is required. Call 718-634-1876.
