Portion Of Shore Front Parkway Renamed For Local Bar Owner ‘Jack’ Fitzgerald
     A portion of Shore Front Parkway at Beach 108 Street was renamed last Saturday in honor of John “Jack” Fitzgerald, the owner for Fitzgerald’s Bar, which once stood on that corner.

     Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Federico E. Santana, son of Milagros A. and Federico A. Santana of Far Rockaway, recently completed a two-week bilateral training exercise with Albanian military forces while assigned to the 26 Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), based in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

     The sixth grade classes at P.S. 225Q, The Seaside School, were treated to a special end of the year camping trip last week. The students loaded onto coach buses for their adventure to Camp Louemma in Sussex, New Jersey on Tuesday, June 10, and returned on Thursday, June 12.
