Rockaway Students Say NO To Violence
 | | The children from P.S. 198 and Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, former Mayor David Dinkins and United States Tennis Association Executive Director/COO Lee Hamilton were on hand to host 1000 students from eight public schools: P.S. 43, 104, 106, 197, 215, M.S. 53 and 198 and Far Rockaway High School.  | | A part of the STAR (Straight Talk About Risks)-Track anti-violence program is to promote a healthy lifestyle and healthy activities like tennis. The kids from P.S. 215 perform jumping jacks just outside of Arthur Ashe Stadium. |

|  | | Students from Far Rockaway High School attended the festivities. The program sends 32 Assistant DA’s into the school teach children about the risks of drugs and guns and build up self-esteem, confidence and the quality of life. |
