Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant

Brian J. Boseman has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force after graduating from Officer Training School (OTS) at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.

At OTS, cadets undergo a demanding twelve-week course that trains them to be top-quality Air Force officers through an extensive curriculum comprised of classroom work, lectures, and exercises to develop leadership, team building, and officer skills. Cadets receive instruction in military training and application, professional knowledge, human behavior, defense studies, leadership studies and management, communication skills, physical fitness, and field training exercises.

Boseman is a logistics readiness officer with the 24th Training Squadron.

He is the son of Mary and James W. Boseman of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

His wife, Anita, is the daughter of Judith Rivera of Far Rockaway.

Boseman is a 1989 graduate of Fort Pierce Central High School, Florida, and a 2002 graduate of Southern Illinois University.
