Beautiful Spring Weather Draws Crowd To Playground
The beautiful weather last weekend drew crowds to Rockaway’s playgrounds. The scene in these pictures were taken at the new playground at Beach 74 Street and Shore Front Parkway, what the kids are calling “The Boat,” for obvious reasons. Pictured, an overview of the playground.
Kids just want to have fun. Mix in a playground and a playground ball and anything can happen.
Young and old “sail the ship” to exotic locations. The playground, renovated last year, has become a favorite for local youngsters.
Four year old Ryan Schwach gives his brother, Corey, a ride on the kiddies swing. Brothers were just two of the many kids at the playground that day.
