Allison Frances Johnson of Belle Harbor won three individual gold medals in the 2003 Starpower Nationals Baton Talent Competition in East Islip, Long Island. The six-year-old Johnson was also the youngest member of her team, called the “Cool Babes” from the Levittown Police Activity League. Johnson won the Baton Twirling, Ballet and Pantomime gold medals. The team also won an overall gold medal. Allison will compete in the World Championships at Maryland in July.
