Put Them In Jail

Dear Editor;

What a shock to see on the front page of The Wave a group of criminals in the act of committing a crime. Where was the 100 Precinct when this criminal activity was going on? It bothers me to think that these criminals are walking among us today ready to break the law again.  What has this community become when people can commit such a crime in broad daylight in full view of The Wave photographer with total disregard to the laws. We live in a society of laws and those who break the law must be punished to the fullest extent.

I'm asking the editors of The Wave to no longer publish pictures of these criminal acts for fear that others might try similar copycat crimes. I'm also asking that the 100 Precinct get a search warrant and storm the offices of The Wave to obtain all the photographs of those criminals so they may be positively identified. Perhaps they can take the photographer into custody and get a confession out of him for being an accessory. Imagine the nerve of those people to think that they can swim in the ocean and get away with it.

PM JABLONSKI
