Design Concepts Wanted

The Steering Committee for the Multi-Cultural Family Festival, which will be held on Saturday, August 24, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., is seeking design concepts for the tee shirts that will be worn at this year’s event. The committee is very interested in concepts submitted by the young people in the community. The design should emphasize the festival’s overall theme for this year, which is a celebration of unity, and it should be reflective of all residents of the Rockaway community in some way. The deadline for submissions is July 29. If you would like more information, you can contact Aria Doe at the Project for Rockaway Youth in Safety and Education (PRYSE) office, (718) 327-8306.
