The Rockaway Music & Arts Council (RMAC) is looking for teenagers in Rockaway who write poetry, short stories, essays or long form material, whether fiction or non-fiction. Projects will be discussed to give the writer a greater scope for ideas. The teenagers will become a part of the RMAC Writers Group, on there will be a reading of the material for parents and friends Interested parties should call Estelle Feldman at the RMAC.

The Rockaway Theatre Company will again be offering Sat. Morning Children’s Theatre Arts Workshop. Six sessions of "hands on" activities provide memorable experiences in writing, rehearsing, set creation and costume design.
