July 4 Fireworks Set

There will be a fireworks show in Rockaway this July Fourth, thanks to Barbara Morris, the owner of West End Realty, one of the businesses on the Beach 116 Street Shopping strip.

"I’m glad that we could put this package together so that our residents can enjoy a spectacular Fourth of July this year," Morris says. "We couldn’t have done it without the help of those who contributed the $10 thousand dollars necessary for the show."

The show, which will begin at 9:30 p.m. from the foot of Beach 116 Street, was funded by Thomas Catenese (Tommy Two-Brothers), Steve and Kenny Good (The Beach Club, The Sunset Diner), Barbara Morris (West End Realty), John Lepore (All State Insurance), City Councilperson Joseph Addabbo and ten unidentified members of the Rotary Club, who donated $200 each.
